✅ Configure macOS Firewall for Divi Desktop
Divi Desktop needs internet access to sync and manage your coins.
If the macOS Firewall is blocking it, your wallet won’t sync, and you won’t be able to manage your coins.
Don’t worry—this guide walks you through allowing Divi Desktop through the macOS Firewall.
⚙️ What You’ll Need
✅ Your Mac running macOS (Ventura, Sonoma, or Monterey)
✅ Divi Desktop already installed
✅ Admin privileges on your Mac
✅ Six (6) Simple Steps
Step 1: Open System Settings
Ventura & Sonoma:
Click the Apple Menu → System Settings.
Monterey or earlier:
Click the Apple Menu → System Preferences.
Step 2: Navigate to Firewall Settings
Ventura & Sonoma:
In System Settings, click Network → Firewall.
Monterey or earlier:
In System Preferences, go to Security & Privacy → Firewall.
Step 3: Unlock Firewall Settings
Click the lock icon in the bottom-left corner.
Enter your administrator password.
Step 4: Open Firewall Options
Click Options… (Monterey and earlier) or Firewall Options (Ventura/Sonoma).
You’ll see a list of apps that can accept incoming connections.
Step 5: Add Divi Desktop and Allow Connections
Click the “+” button.
Navigate to:
Applications → Divi Desktop
Select Divi Desktop.app and click Add.
Make sure it shows:
Allow incoming connections
Click OK to save.
Step 6: Lock Settings and Restart Divi Desktop
Click the lock icon again to prevent further changes.
Restart Divi Desktop to test applied firewall changes.
✅ Your wallet should now sync normally!
✅ What If You Already See Divi Desktop Listed?
If it says Block incoming connections, click it and change to Allow incoming connections.
If it’s duplicated, remove all entries and add it fresh.
Pro Tip: macOS may prompt you when you first run Divi Desktop. If you click Deny, you will need to complete this process manually.
